Today we erected some scaffolding on the front and back of a house in Chatham. It was a nice little job to start the day with. The house was situated on a very steep hill so just to be safe I put some chocks behind the back wheels of the truck. The scaffolding was to provide safe access to paint the fascia and soffit boards. The residents were very helpful in letting us walk the equipment through the house to the back and were on hand to make us cups of tea when we were thirsty. Most of the houses that we scaffold in Chatham have very restricted access and are situated in very narrow streets so this one was a rare pleasure. Many thanks to Dave Sedge from Diamond Builders for the work.
