Scaffolding In Teynham, Between Faversham and Sittingbourne, Kent
We have been working in Teynham, between Faversham and Sittingbourne in Kent. The scaffolding required was on a Grade 2 listed building called Frognal Farmhouse.
The restoration work requires a scaffold to complete the exterior brickwork, windows and chimney stacks renovation.
As the building is on a busy country lane, we provided the appropriate safety signage, lighting and barriers. The council also provided a permit for the scaffold.

The scaffolding was debris netted, which stops debris from the renovation work falling onto cars below. To install the scaffolding, it was also necessary to secure a lane closure to protect the public and the scaffolders during installation.
Additionally, the power cable that connected to the building required UK Power Networks to attend the site and shroud the cables before work commenced.
